[2020 Review] By Wishtrend: Quad Active Boosting Essence

1. What is Quad Active?

• It’s a face essence with a blend of 4 different active ingredients, hence the “Quad Active”.

Thus, based on the ingredient lists, this essence targets people who are having skin concerns like acne, blemishes, hyperpigmentations, redness and inflammatory. But normal and dry skin can also benefit from this if you want to add more radiance to your skin completion.

Thoughts:

• I have oily combination skin, but my skin was really dry during the time I tested out this essence
• I’ve noticed that after applying the Quad Active Boosting Essence, it makes the serum absorbs more quickly. Thus, the essence works really well in enhancing the bridge between toner and serum step.
• I tend to secret oil no matter day or night, but this essence does not make my skin greasy! So if you have oily skin like me, its effectiveness in reducing sebum secretion is hard to deny.
• It does improve my skin. Redness has been reduced, no irritation or side effects, really gentle enough to give a layer of moisture.

Packaging:

• This is a 100ml bottle, so it’s a travel friendly product!
• The bottle is made out of tinted yellow color (just a bit lighter than the Propolis Ampoule). It looks luxury and cute!

Texture:

• Lightweight with a light yellowish consistency. So the texture is watery, but it’s really easy to control and apply
• Sinks into the skin barrier pretty fast. No greasy over night

Overall, Quad Active Boosting Essence would be something to test out if you want to apply only one product after the toner or if you want a product that enhances the effectiveness of serum. My skin is healthy and glow after using for around 1 week – consistently. I incorporated this product during the day and night time. One suggestion is not to use cotton pad to apply this onto the skin. Using your clean, bare hands to apply would be best! The most apparent effect is that my face looks less oily and less sensitive to external environmental factor.
