Hello everyone~ Spooky season is around the corner! Today, I’ll be sharing with you Olens’s special colored contacts for Halloween~ This is the Vampire collection, and there are two options for this.

Vampire Silver

Brief thoughts:

Vampire Silver has a very saturated gray color that near white, blending in with a yellowish ring, and this minimizes the artificial feeling. I guess because of the pigmented black edge line, this really makes my eyes seem to pop out more – if you look at the before picture, when I only have the contact lens on one eye. And of course, my eyes look a lot doll-like (Vampire Silver has a larger graphic diameter than the normal), perfect to start some sort of scary makeup look for Halloweens!

Vampire Red

Brief thoughts

This red is really saturated but not super bright, it has a more natural brown tone, which I think, is perfect for Halloween and also not too scary to freak out the kids (unless you want to go for a “bloody” zombies’ makeup).

Conclusions:

I have been playing around with these two colors for at least 2 weeks – trying to come up with a makeup for Halloween haha. I noticed that both of these are quite dry if you wear these more than 5 hours – maybe because the water content is not a lot. So, just do your exotic Halloween makeup, and put these on once you finish everything, and this should work fine without irritating your eyes too much (5 hours might be enough for Trick or Treat…). Other than that, I think you can be very creative with Vampire Silver and Red during this Halloween season! Soooo, as always, don’t forget to check out these on Olens’s website!
